Felicity & Zander knew they wanted to have a traditional New Orleans Catholic wedding under the oaks. Felicity also loves peacock colors and wanted to use feather bow ties for the gentlemen but wanted to incorporate some pops of red as well.
For their ceremony at Holy Name of Jesus, her brothers walked her down the aisle in her stunning Modern Trousseau gown from Wedding Belles before guests went to the Audubon Clubhouse for their reception. Traditional New Orleans foods such as turtle soup were served and almost all of the menu as well as the wedding cake were gluten free so the bride could indulge along with her guests!
As Sha’on and the Girls with Success band kicked up the party, we pulled the mini calla lilies and roses out of the bride’s bouquet and wrapped them along with a small tag that read, “The love between a father & daughter knows no distance.” for the bride to take to her father’s grave.
Putting their surgical skills to good practice, they each cut the cake all the way from top to bottom before sharing a bite & partying the night away with their guests before their 2nd line out for the after party. This sweet, fun loving couple truly had a night to remember!
