The Banda family came to Alchemy Events to plan their Diwali celebration in Baton Rouge, Louisiana—but with a twist! Their son had just proposed to their best friend’s daughter, giving the family even more reason to celebrate as we transformed the event into an engagement party as well. As an experienced South Asian and Indian wedding planner serving Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Alchemy Events incorporated the family’s traditions into the design and planning of this vibrant celebration. Below, enjoy behind-the-scenes footage of our team setting up the event, followed by photos from the celebration itself feature in Mandala Weddings Magazine!
