60th Birthday Party

Venkat’s wife came to us to help plan a surprise 60th birthday party for him in the historic French Quarter of New Orleans.  Guests were bussed in from Baton Rouge and waited eagerly on the balcony of Galerie de Galatoire for him to exit the Hotel Monteleone across the street.  After yelling surprise and cheering from the balcony, guests dined on hors d’oeuvres while Venkat made his way up to join the party.  Toasts accompanied dinner which was finished with a custom cake featuring photographs from his life.  With the cake eaten, guest portraits were taken with the custom backdrop before a brass band led guests through the French Quarter on a second line back to the bus.  It was an incredible evening of tarot cards to point guests toward their future and looking forward to many more wonderful years of celebrating Venkat!
