Kristen & Aneek celebrated their Bengali Indian wedding at The Westin New Orleans, overlooking downtown and the Mississippi River. Alchemy Events planned and designed their celebration, incorporating traditional Bengali wedding customs into an elegant New Orleans wedding experience, including a traditional New Orleans second line brass band as part of the baraat.
From the bor boron to saat paak, we love the beautiful traditions of Bengali weddings. The traditional topor and mukut worn by the groom and bride were beautiful accompaniments to their wedding attire. The celebration concluded with a lively reception filled with dancing.
