David & Kendall selected the McKinney Flour Mill just outside Dallas for their beautiful ceremony & reception. Erected in 1872, the McKinney Flour Mill was one of the earliest mills associated with the developing grain processing industry. David & Kendall’s relationship had already played on historical elements, as they were engaged when he surprised her by proposing in front of the Lincoln Memorial while she was on a trip with her friends.
Being a wedding photographer herself, Kendall has seen many weddings & knew she wanted their own wedding to really reflect their personalities. Her stunning bouquet featured an African protea, a nod to the passion she has for the mission trips she takes there. They also served breakfast foods including waffles with fun toppings, champagne & a specialty coffee station provided by one of their favorite local coffee shops. In one of our favorite moments, Kendall & David not only had a first dance but they also reserved the last dance just for themselves. So as guests lined up outside for the sparkler sendoff, they held each other in their arms once again & shared a private last dance before heading off for their new life together as husband & wife!
